support & services
We work from a guiding set of principles which centre self empowerment, care and accountability (aligning our actions with our values); and we prioritise people of intersecting experiences of racism, anti-Blackness, transphobia, homophobia and/or disability or related systems of oppression.
We believe decolonial working is possible in the arts, through our day to day interactions making collective small changes towards wider cultural shifts. We aim to to approach necessary change from within first.

PRODUCING
To us, in performance & interdisciplinary arts, producing means collaborating with artists to facilitate informed decision making together, and realise their vision on a logistical, practical, administrative level.
Please contact us before writing us into any funding application - and if helpful we’ll give your draft a once over and share recommendations to make it the strongest it can be for submission.
ADVOCACY
In interacting with cultural institutions and the wider sector, we aim to build strength in advocating for ourselves and each other, challenging inequities and normalising more ethical, sustainable and ethical ways of working.
If you’re experiencing any issues in your workplace or project, and would like to talk through in a confidential, no pressure space, we can listen and support you to explore your options for next steps.
CONTRACTING
for us: proactive advocacy
Most standard contracts protect the person issuing it and rarely consider the person asked to sign. We treat contracts as the beginning of a relationship dialogue - and as with any collaboration we appreciate clarity of roles, expectations and what support is available to us.
We offer contract review, negotiation support and can help you if writing your own
Mentoring & Dramaturgical Support
We value dialogues and reflection in our collective practices.
We can offer a creative sounding board for your initial ideas, a specific element of your performance or connect you with some of our wider network across artforms.
Research & Anti Racist Practice development
Our Anti Racism in Practice: the Arts work session series led by nxa and Adebusola is for committed organisations and freelancers, and was developed through our sector research 2020-2022 and our ongoing critical inquiries
late 2026-27 applicants:
Please send a short expression of interest including: a little about your work, where you are in your anti racism journey and why you want to undertake the sessions, and we’ll get back to you.
Sustainable Working & Ethics
We feel strongly about practising healthier ways of working for our bodies, minds, relationships and our collective future.
We can think together on how to create harm-minimising, nurturing working conditions for your project and embed community-minded ethics at the heart of your approaches.
